Council seeks views on intermediate rent policy

27 January, 2026 | News

Caerphilly County Borough Council is inviting residents to share their views on a proposed intermediate rent policy designed to help address local housing need.

With rising private rents and local housing data showing a strong need for more affordable homes to rent across the borough, the proposed policy would support people who cannot afford to buy a home but can afford more than a social rent.

Views can be given by completing a short survey.

To request a paper copy of the survey, or support completing it, email stratanddevelop@caerphilly.gov.uk or call 01443 863 121.

The survey will close on 18th February.
