Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili wedi cadarnhau y bydd yn gweithio mewn partneriaeth \u00e2’r contractwr Jones Brothers (Henllan) Ltd i ddod \u00e2 chartrefi fforddiadwy newydd mawr eu hangen i Bont-y-waun.<\/p>\n

Jones Brothers, a gafodd eu penodi yn dilyn proses gaffael gystadleuol, yw un o’r prif gwmn\u00efau Peirianneg Sifil ac Adeiladu yn Ne Cymru. Byddan nhw\u2019n gweithio gyda th\u00eem Cartrefi Caerffili y Cyngor i drawsnewid safle hen gynllun tai lloches Cwrt y Castell yn 16 o gartrefi fforddiadwy, sy\u2019neffeithlon o ran ynni, gan helpu diwallu anghenion tai lleol wrth greu lle y gall y gymuned ymfalch\u00efo ynddo.<\/p>\n

Bydd y gwaith paratoi yn dechrau yn y misoedd nesaf, ac mae disgwyl i waith dymchwel yr adeilad presennol ddechrau\u2019n gynnar yn yr hydref cyn i’r gwaith adeiladu ddechrau.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd y Cynghorydd Shayne Cook, Dirprwy Arweinydd Cyngor Caerffili ac Aelod Cabinet dros Dai, \u201cMae hon yn garreg filltir gyffrous i’r prosiect ac i’r gymuned leol. Bydd y cartrefi newydd hyn yn darparu tai o ansawdd uchel mawr eu hangen gan roi bywyd newydd i safle segur. Rydyn ni\u2019n edrych ymlaen at weithio gyda Jones Brothers i gyflawni datblygiad a fydd o fudd i bobl leol am flynyddoedd i ddod.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ychwanegodd Gareth Jones, Rheolwr Gyfarwyddwr Jones Brothers: \u201cRydyn ni\u2019n falch iawn i weithio gyda Chartrefi Caerffili i ddarparu 16 o gartrefi fforddiadwy, cynaliadwy ac o ansawdd uchel ym Mhont-y-waun, ac rydyn ni\u2019n edrych ymlaen at chwarae ein rhan wrth adfywio\u2019r safle.\u201d<\/p>\n
